• 18．It's unfair
  Julia was an intelligent and hard-working girl，who often stayed up late，so she couldn't get up early and occasionally late for school．One morning when she came in late，Mr．Sharp，her teacher，burst into anger．
      Mr Sharp told her， "I'll write to your father if you aren't here on time tomorrow．" Julia didn't expect him to do that because her parents were very strict with her．So she said sorry and promised that she would be punctual from that moment on．
      The next day she got up very early and went to school without breakfast．When the bell rang，she had been seated in the classroom．The door opened and the teacher came in．But it was not Mr．Sharp．It was Miss Young．Mr．Sharp was on business ，so she was taking his class instead．How disappointed Julia was．
      The next morning Julia got up even earlier．After a quick breakfast she rushed to school．Just before she got to the school gate，she spotted a wallet lying on the ground．
      She picked it up． "Whose is this？" she wondered．
      As she stood there ，there went the first bell． "What shall I do？" she hesitated．
      "I'll turn in the wallet to the headmaster first．" she decided．And so she did．
