Likiso finally returned in 2015 only to find that her hometown was already part of a new country,South Sudan.Today,31-year-old Likiso is a host on Radio Miraya, which is the biggest network in South Sudan by now.A lot of people depend on it for reliable jye.aiformation.In addition,Miraya has worked hard to push for peace in the area.
"Radio was the only source of information and happiness that kept my family going in the refugee camp.My mother would listen to the radio to keep up with what was happening back home.It is this experience that made me want to become a radio host."Likiso recalled.
Recently a sad story shocked her country.A child was killed and her body was found in a toilet." If that is not difficult to report, then I don't know what is." Likiso said. ▲ For example,a young man decided to return home from the refugee camp he was living in to help homeless women. He built houses for them using unused water bottles."At the time of my interview with him,he had already managed to take 10 women and their children off the streets."Likiso added.
In South Sudan, the radio has been seen as an important tool for providing information for hard-to-reach communjye.aiies.It not only provides chances for local women and young people to learn about and take part in community events, but also brings hope to those living in instability(不安定).

4.In 2017,U.S.jye.ai and actress Barbra Streisand lost her pet dog,Samantha. However, she wasn't ready to give her up completely. She spent $50,000 and had her dog cloned(克?。?
Pet cloning,in fact,is now convenient and helpful for pet owners—as long as you have about $50,000.Many people, like Streisand, can't imagine life without their four-legged friend. So the idea of "bringing your dead pet back to life" sounds wonderful. However, are we really making a good decision to have our pets cloned?
Clones like Streisand's new dogs aren't created out of thin air. They require the help of several female dogs (mother dogs).First, scientists take certain cells(細(xì)胞) from the dead (or dying) dog. Then, they take special cells from a female dog.The cells of the two dogs are mixed with each other. After that, scientists put the cells into another female dog.The cells will grow into new dogs. The dogs will usually be born 60 days later.Sometimes, the clones die shortly after birth.Cloning companies will try again and more dogs will have to suffer.
If you have ever considered having your dog cloned, you may hesitate now. Many scientists are against pet cloning. Some of them say that cloning companies are taking advantage of people who miss their pets. Some are worried that if people clone their pets, they will never have new pets.Millions of dogs and cats are waiting for a home.Pet cloning, therefore,is unnecessary.
Companies that offer pet cloning services are selling a dream of never having to say goodbye to our pets. However, this is an unhealthy dream, both for the pet owner and for those female animals. They are all used as tools.Losing a pet is sad,but why should we spread the suffering to other dogs just because we love our pets? Why should we make our relationship with dogs all about ourselves?

A.She spent $50,000 buying her pet dog.
B.She lost her dog and bought a similar one.

D.Her pet dog died and she did something for it.
(2)How many female dogs are needed to clone a dog?
A.At least two.
B.At least three.
C.At least four.
D.At least five.
(3)What does the underlined word"hesitate"in paragraph 4 mean?
