Craig Kielburger was born in Canada on December 17th,1982 and spent his childhood there.He often took part in sports,and he liked to help people.When Craig was twelve,he read a story in Toronto Star newspaper about a poor boy.The poor boy was killed because he fought for the rights of children.The poor boy was just twelve year old,too.After reading this article,Craig was so angry that he decided to help the children who should go to school instead of working in factories all day in some countries.So he gathered his friends and started a group the Twelve-Year-Olds.Soon many children joined them and they called the organization Free the Children.The organization has helped develop the education in Kenya,India,China and other countries.Today,they have built more than 700 schools and school rooms in these countries.They have also provided clean water,health care for more than one million people around the world.
