Olympic National Park & Rafting the Sauk River
We' ll meet in Seattle and enjoy the rest of the day getting to know one another and preparing for our backpacking adventure ahead.Our group will connect quickly as we spend our first days together breaking in our packs in Olympic National Park.After our first taste of backcountry living，we' ll continue north to spend a day rafting （乘筏渡） the Sauk River.
North Cascades National Park Backpacking
From the Sauk，we' ll head to the wilderness of North Cascades National Park for backpacking and the community service part of our trip.After a day of rest and preparation，we' ll head into the North Cascades backcountry for an exciting six-day trip.Every day will be a great adventure as we hike （徒步旅行） from forests to high country where there are many pristine （原始的） lakes and snow-capped mountains.
Sea Kayaking and Community Service in the San Juan Islands & Seattle
Then，we' ll go to Puget Sound and trade in our packs for sea kayaks （小艇）.The San Juan Islands will be our playground for three days as we practice our kayaking skills and explore this place.We' ll camp on island beaches where no people live，and keep an eye out for wild animals.While here，we' ll also offer to help a local organization keep the San Juan Islands pristine.We' ll finish up our rip back in Seattle where we' ll explore the city for a day and enjoy a celebratory dinner.
