Chen Mei is a middle school student in Beijing．She doesn't like to wear the same old school uniform（校服）---a track suit（運(yùn)動(dòng)服）every day．She wants a new，colourful one．
   Soon，Chen Mei can be happy about her clothes．Many Beijing schools are beginning to use dress uniforms．By 2008，most schools in Beijing will have new uniforms．They won't be very expensive for students．
   On Saturday，there was a school uniform show in Beijing．Students tried on 60 new kinds of clothes．
   There were many different new styles（樣式）at the show．They look much better than before and the colours are much brighter．
   Lots of new clothes are made of cotton，So they are comfortable（舒服的）．Most of the boys' uniforms at the show were suits（西服）．The girls' uniforms were skirts．Some were track suits，but they were more colourful than before．Beijing is going to have the Olympics in 2008．School uniforms need to be different．
   Lots of students say they like the new uniforms．"They are fun and they make US look young，"said Chen Mei．
   Wang Jun，one of Chen Mei's schoolmates，said，"The new clothes will make me feel like a gentleman（紳士）．I'll have to look good all the time．And I'll have to be polite（有禮貌的）．"
