In China，some women have their special language.It's called nüshu （女書）.Nüshu is a written language with a long history.Hundreds of years ago，women in Jiangyong county （縣），Hunan，could not go to school at that time，so they made their language.Men could not understand it.The language soon got popular with women in Jiangyong.
Women used nüshu to write poems （詩(shī)） and songs about their lives.They wrote them on pages，in books and on fans.They even stitched （縫） them on clothing.During parties，they sang them aloud.
But today，not many women can write nüshu anymore.So Jiangyong county wants to save it.Now，some high schools in Jiangyong have nüshu lessons.In this way，more people get to know and learn this language.
Zhao Liming，a professor （教授） from Tsinghua University，works with an app called Talkman.From September on，users can learn nüshu on the app.Zhao says the idea of nüshu is still important today because it shows how women often had to fight for their right（權(quán)利） to learn.
